When desired passives are spread across different Pals, waiting for one perfect parent is often impractical. PalBeacon uses fixed breeding relationships and currently accessible inventory to build a route tree in which intermediate parents bring those passives together over generations.

Why desired passives are distributed

Server inventory comes from different players, captures, and breeding results. The passives for one target are often spread across different species and instances, while gender and species combinations limit which Pals can pair directly.

  • Finding a suitable parent that already has four desired passives is often harder than planning intermediates.
  • PalBeacon measures which desired passives each instance covers instead of looking only at species.
  • Personal inventory and permitted guild Pals can cover the desired set together.

Intermediate parents concentrate passives

First-generation offspring may carry only part of the desired set, then pair with another inventory parent or intermediate in a later step. Each checkpoint states what the next generation needs to retain.

  • Intermediate parents connect several starting instances into an executable dependency chain.
  • Species transitions, viable gender, or passive concentration can all add generations.
  • A missing starting parent appears as a requirement, never as a fabricated inventory instance.

Unwanted passives, gender, and species recipes

Unwanted parent passives add inheritance noise, so PalBeacon prefers an inventory representative with fewer extras for the same route. Gender must work for each step, and offspring species always comes from the fixed breeding data version.

  • Unwanted passives do not change recipe legality, but they can make inheritance harder.
  • Same-species steps need viable opposite-sex instances, and different-species steps still require compatible genders.
  • AI may explain or assist ranking, but cannot change species relationships or base scores.

How to read a route tree

Start with inventory parents on the left, follow their connectors into intermediate offspring, and continue toward the final target. Nodes distinguish real inventory, intermediate products, the target, and missing requirements.

  • Parent nodes show actual passives, gender, owner, and a provable location.
  • Intermediate and target nodes show the passives the route needs to retain.
  • Generations, borrowed Pals, inventory coverage, and missing summaries help compare execution cost.

A legal route does not make outcomes certain

The tree fixes legal breeding steps and desired checkpoints, but passive results from each hatch remain random. A step may need repeats, and the complete route may need several generations.

  • PalBeacon never promises a first try, guaranteed four gold passives, or an unverified exact probability.
  • After syncing new inventory, recalculate to use newly available parents in a revised route.
  • Saved routes do not detect offspring automatically, advance progress, or operate the game.

Passive route questions

Why does a route need intermediate parents?

Desired passives and the target species may not fit into one step. Intermediates combine part of the passive set before entering later legal recipes.

Do unwanted passives make a recipe invalid?

They do not change a fixed species recipe, but they add inheritance noise. PalBeacon prefers instances with fewer extras within the same route.

Why assign real gender?

Each breeding step needs two gender-compatible instances. A species relationship without the required real genders cannot be executed directly from current inventory.

Does a multi-generation route guarantee the final passives?

No. The route guarantees that steps use fixed legal relationships, but passive inheritance remains random and may require repeated attempts.
